Season 10 of Father Brown first aired in 2023. It is set in 1954, consistent with the ending of Season 9 with a New Years Eve party.
The season had two running plots: Sullivan's attempts to return to London and expose his corrupt boss, and Sergeant Goodfellow's attempt to become an Inspector. It was the first season to be first aired weekly as opposed to every weekday and the first to be released in its entirety on BBC iPlayer before the episodes aired on television.
